Our friends, neighbors, employers, and colleagues routinely engage with archaeology as part of their everyday life experience. Archaeology features in many of our local industries as well as in the curricula of our schools. Our public servants help take care of local archaeological resources, as do local volunteers. Hundreds of thousands of visitors to our area regularly seek out archaeology-related experiences, as do our local students and fellow residents.
